Terea Scarlet Edition Indonesia

Description

Scarlet Edition is the only TEREA stick with two spices named in its official description. IQOS Indonesia describes it as a blend of Indonesian clove enriched with red fruit and cinnamon aroma.

Clove and cinnamon are both warm spices, and there is no menthol here to cool them down. That makes Scarlet the warmest reading stick in the Indonesian clove range.

Clove, or cengkeh, only exists in TEREA sold for Indonesia. Kretek, the Indonesian clove cigarette, has been a normal format there for a long time, which is why Philip Morris International built this range for that market alone.

What does TEREA Scarlet Edition actually taste like?

Three things are named: Indonesian clove, red fruit and cinnamon. Clove is the base of the blend, and the other two are the aroma layer on top.

Cinnamon is the part that sets Scarlet apart. No other TEREA stick in any market lists it, so this is the one place in the range you will find it.

Red fruit is IQOS wording and stays deliberately broad. It is not cherry or strawberry unless IQOS says so, and IQOS does not.

There is no menthol in the description at all, so nothing cuts across the spice during the session. The background to this whole range is in why Indonesian TEREA uses clove.

How does Scarlet compare with the other clove Editions?

Three of the seven clove sticks skip menthol entirely. Scarlet is one of them, along with Golden and Auburn, and it is the only one that layers a second spice over the clove.

IQOS publishes no intensity, body or aroma ratings for any Indonesian variant, so the comparison below uses official wording and character rather than made up scores.

Inside the no menthol group the split is simple. Golden Edition gives you clove on its own, Auburn Edition sweetens it with vanilla and yellow fruit, and Scarlet takes it the other way with cinnamon.

If red fruit is what attracted you rather than the spice, Black Ruby Indonesia covers red berry with cold menthol and no clove at all. The full lineup sits on the TEREA Indonesia collection page.

What does the Indonesia edition actually change?

Normally a country edition means one thing. Same blend, local pack, local warning label, local language on the box.

Scarlet is different. There is no Scarlet Edition in the UAE, Japan or Kazakhstan, because clove TEREA is produced for Indonesia only. This stick exists nowhere else.

So when a shop calls Scarlet a country edition, that undersells it. It is not a familiar flavour in Indonesian packaging, it is an Indonesian product.

The pack carries Indonesian text and an Indonesian health warning. How the market editions differ overall is covered in TEREA editions compared.

Which devices does TEREA Scarlet Edition work with?

Scarlet works in the IQOS ILUMA series and the IQOS ILUMA i series only.

Each TEREA stick contains a metal element that the device heats from the inside by induction. Because nothing is pushed into the tobacco, there is no blade and no cleaning routine.

IQOS warns that using TEREA in an IQOS ORIGINALS or ORIGINALS ONE may damage the device. Do not attempt it with these sticks.

Our explainer on induction against blade heating shows why the two systems are not interchangeable. Pack origin has no effect on any of this.

What is in the pack and how long does one stick last?

Each pack holds 20 sticks and each carton holds 10 packs, giving 200 sticks.

One session lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. On ILUMA i there is roughly 20 seconds of preheating before you take the first puff.

IQOS does not publish a per stick nicotine figure for Scarlet Edition, so we do not print one. UAE listings that show a milligram figure for this stick are copying each other, not IQOS. Our nicotine per stick explainer covers that in detail.

Tar content, pack weight and carton dimensions are absent from this page for the same reason.

How do you use a TEREA Scarlet Edition stick?

Push the stick in as far as the printed line and start the heating cycle. Scarlet has no capsule, so there is nothing to crush and nothing to time.

With no menthol in the blend, the session is warm from start to finish. There is no cold turn and no change of direction halfway through.

Slow puffs suit a spiced stick better. Hard, fast puffs just spend the 14 puff counter sooner.

Who should pick Scarlet Edition, and who should skip it?

Pick it if you like warm spice and are not looking for anything cold. Cinnamon over clove is a specific taste, and if it appeals you will not find it anywhere else in TEREA.

Skip it if you want cooling, since Scarlet contains no menthol. Berrine, Mulint and Minago are the clove sticks that do.

Skip it too if spice in tobacco is not your thing. In that case the plainer options across our flavour family pages are a better starting point than any clove Edition.

How should you store TEREA sticks in the UAE?

Local heat is hard on tobacco. A pack left in a hot car dries out, and the aroma notes are the first thing to go.

Store packs indoors at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate them, because condensation collects inside the pack afterwards.

Keep the carton sealed and work through one pack at a time. There is more in our guide to storing TEREA in UAE heat.

What do buyers ask about Scarlet Edition?

Is Scarlet Edition the only TEREA with cinnamon?

Cinnamon appears in the official IQOS description for Scarlet Edition and not in any other TEREA descriptor we have from IQOS. If cinnamon is what you are after, this is the only stick that officially lists it.

Does Scarlet Edition have menthol in it?

No. The official wording names Indonesian clove, red fruit and cinnamon aroma, with no menthol. The cooling clove sticks are Berrine, Mulint and Minago, which each list cool menthol in their descriptions.

Which red fruit is in Scarlet Edition?

IQOS says red fruit without naming one. We leave it there rather than guessing at cherry or strawberry, because no official IQOS page narrows it down for this variant.

Is Scarlet stronger than Golden Edition?

No intensity ratings are published for either stick, so we cannot rank them. What IQOS does state is the aroma layer. Scarlet adds red fruit and cinnamon, Golden is described as smooth tobacco with clove.

Will Scarlet damage my IQOS 3 DUO?

Do not try it. IQOS warns that using TEREA in ORIGINALS or ORIGINALS ONE models may damage the device, because those heat with a blade and TEREA sticks are built for induction heating instead.

How do you order TEREA Scarlet Edition in Dubai?

Choose the pack or carton size on this page, or look through the rest of the range on the TEREA edition collections and in our full product list.

Delivery terms and timing are in the shipping and delivery policy. If you want to try the spiced and the sweet clove sticks side by side, contact us before ordering a carton.

Nicotine and age notice

TEREA sticks contain tobacco and nicotine. Nicotine is addictive and these products are not risk free.

They are intended only for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use nicotine. They are not for non smokers, for anyone under 18, or for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not ingest or take apart a TEREA stick. IQOS warns that it contains a sharp metal part that can cause serious injury if swallowed, so keep packs out of reach of children. Our age policy explains how we handle this.

Flavour names describe taste only. They do not indicate any difference in health risk between variants.
