LAMBDA is a third party induction heating device, not an IQOS product. We carry three tiers: i8, i9 and i10, in various colours.

Lambda states its i-series is compatible with TEREA and other SMARTCORE sticks. That is Lambda’s own claim about its own device, and we keep it separate from anything IQOS publishes.

Is LAMBDA an IQOS product?

No. Lambda is a separate manufacturer. Lambda states its i-series is compatible with TEREA and other SMARTCORE sticks, which is Lambda’s own claim about its own device.

IQOS publishes compatibility only for its own ILUMA and ILUMA i devices and does not list any third party device. Those are two different companies describing their own products, and we are not going to let one speak for the other.

How do i8, i9 and i10 actually compare?

Lambda publishes the same specification sheet for all three tiers. The table shows exactly what that means.

Three identical rows is not laziness on our part. On Lambda’s own numbers, i8 does everything i9 and i10 do. Anyone telling you the newer tier heats better or lasts longer is not quoting the manufacturer.

How does LAMBDA compare with an IQOS ILUMA device?

The genuine difference is temperature and session control. Lambda lets you set 200 to 300 C and a 3 to 6 minute session. IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i run a fixed session of up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first, with no user-set temperature on any tier.

IQOS’s own compatibility statement covers only its own devices, whether first or second generation. Lambda’s compatibility claim is Lambda’s own, stated separately above.

Which sticks does LAMBDA take?

Lambda states its i-series is compatible with TEREA and other SMARTCORE sticks. This is an induction device, so it takes SMARTCORE sticks, not HEETS, which are a blade-heated format.

Does a LAMBDA device need cleaning?

No blade goes into the stick on any tier, since these are induction devices. Lambda publishes no approved cleaning product or schedule, so we invent neither.

Which LAMBDA tier should you buy?

On Lambda’s own published numbers, there is no performance reason to pick one tier over another. i8, i9 and i10 share the same battery, temperature range and session length.

Pick by price and colour rather than by tier number. LAMBDA i8, LAMBDA i9 and LAMBDA i10 each come in several finishes with identical specs underneath.

What do buyers ask about LAMBDA?

Is LAMBDA approved by IQOS for use with TEREA?

No, and nobody should tell you it is. IQOS publishes compatibility only for its own ILUMA and ILUMA i devices, and does not list Lambda anywhere. Lambda’s compatibility claim is a separate statement from a separate company.

Does i10 heat a stick better than i8, since it is the newest?

Lambda does not publish a heat-up time or a performance difference for any of the three tiers, so nobody can compare them honestly. The published specification sheet is identical across i8, i9 and i10.

Does LAMBDA work with HEETS?

No, it does not. HEETS is a blade-heated stick format built for a different kind of device. LAMBDA is an induction device built for SMARTCORE sticks like TEREA, not for blade-heated sticks.

Does LAMBDA come with a warranty?

Neither company publishes a position we can quote here, so we are not going to invent a warranty term for either direction, whatever a retailer’s own listing happens to promise you.

What is the actual reason to choose LAMBDA over an IQOS device?

Adjustable temperature and adjustable session length. Those two controls exist on every LAMBDA tier and on no IQOS ILUMA or ILUMA i device we sell, which is the genuine, verifiable difference between them.
