Amber is a plain tobacco flavour with no menthol and no capsule. We carry it in three editions: Armenia, Kazakhstan and UAE.

IQOS publishes one blend description for Amber and uses it across every market that carries the name. That makes this one of the simplest families on the site to shop with confidence.
IQOS describes Amber as a rounded, toasted tobacco blend with light woody and nutty aroma notes. The IQOS UAE store lists it in short form simply as “Nutty”.
IQOS UK publishes ratings for Amber of Intensity 3/5, Body 3/5 and Aroma 4/5, putting it in the middle of the tobacco range rather than at the strong end.
You will see UAE retailers add cocoa, spice or caramel to that description. None of that is in any PMI wording we could find. Cocoa and dry fruit belong to Bronze, a different flavour, not Amber.
Yes, as far as the published wording goes. IQOS uses the same “rounded, toasted tobacco with light woody and nutty aroma notes” description for Amber whichever market the pack was made for.
| Product | Edition | Official descriptor |
|---|---|---|
| TEREA Amber Armenia | Armenia | Rounded, toasted tobacco with light woody and nutty aroma notes |
| TEREA Amber Kazakhstan | Kazakhstan | Rounded, toasted tobacco with light woody and nutty aroma notes |
| TEREA Amber From UAE | UAE | Rounded, toasted tobacco with light woody and nutty aroma notes, listed as “Nutty” on IQOS UAE |
What changes between the three is the pack. Artwork, printed language and the local health warning differ, not the tobacco description IQOS publishes.
If you want it a step stronger, TEREA Teak from Kazakhstan shares the same rounded, toasted description with a higher published intensity rating.
If you want more body, our Sienna family page is rated 4/5 on both intensity and body against Amber’s 3/5 and 3/5.
If you want to go lighter, our Yellow family page drops the body rating to 2/5 while raising the aroma rating to 5/5.
Every Amber stick uses induction heating, so it only works in IQOS ILUMA or IQOS ILUMA i devices. It does not work in IQOS ORIGINALS or any older blade heater.
Our compatible devices guide lists every model we sell against every flavour on this page. Our editions compared guide covers the country packs in more depth.
No. IQOS UK’s own ratings put Amber at Intensity 3/5, with Yellow rated lower at 3/5 intensity but a lighter body of 2/5. Amber sits mid-range, not at the bottom.
No. Amber is a plain tobacco flavour with no menthol, no cooling agent and no crushable capsule of any kind. If you want cooling, our Turquoise family is the closer match.
We cannot find that wording in any IQOS source. Cocoa and dry fruit are the published notes for Bronze, a separate flavour, and we think that description has been copied across by mistake.
Any of the three, since the published taste description does not change between them. TEREA Amber from UAE is the edition IQOS itself lists for this market, which makes it a reasonable default.
No. Amber is only ever sold as a plain tobacco stick in our catalogue, with no capsule variant published anywhere. For a capsule option, see our Pearl family page instead.
TEREA sticks contain tobacco and nicotine. Nicotine is addictive and these products are not risk free.
They are intended only for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use nicotine. They are not for non-smokers, for anyone under 18, or for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not ingest or take apart a TEREA stick. It contains a sharp metal part that can cause serious injury if swallowed, so keep packs out of reach of children. See our age policy for how we handle this.
