Where does TEREA Fusion Menthol sit in the Japan TEREA range?

IQOS Japan splits the menthol family in two. Variants without Black in the name are described as refreshing menthol, and Black variants are described as strong menthol built on intensely cold menthol.

Fusion Menthol sits on the refreshing side. There is no Black Fusion Menthol, so the same lavender and pear stick with a colder base simply does not exist in the range.

The real decision here is Fusion against TEREA Bright Menthol Japan. In IQOS Japan’s own wording both are pear sticks, Bright is pear on its own and Fusion adds lavender over the top.

What does the Japan edition change?

Japan uses a completely different naming system from the international range. Japan sells Regular, Rich Regular, Smooth Regular and its own menthol family, while the international range sells Amber, Sienna, Silver, Yellow, Blue and Turquoise.

The pack is built for the Japanese market, so the pack text and the health warnings are printed in Japanese. The stick itself is the same size and heats the same way in an ILUMA device.
