IQOS Indonesia lists Emerald Edition as part of the Indonesian clove Edition family. What IQOS does not publish, on any page we could reach, is an aroma description for it. So we do not print one.

Clove, or cengkeh, appears in TEREA only in the Indonesian range. Kretek, the Indonesian clove cigarette, is a long standing format there, which is why Philip Morris International made a clove line for that market and no other.

What does TEREA Emerald Edition actually taste like?

The honest answer is that IQOS has not said, and we are not going to fill the gap for them.

What is confirmed is the family. Emerald Edition is listed by IQOS Indonesia among the clove Editions, so clove is part of the product. Every other stick in that family has published aroma wording. Emerald does not.

Look around at other retailers and you will find confident descriptions of mint, green apple, pine or fresh herbs for this stick. Those come from the name and the pack colour, not from IQOS. Nobody publishing them can point at a source.

Where does Emerald sit in the clove Edition range?

Six of the seven clove Editions have official taste wording. Three are clove without menthol, three add cool menthol. Emerald is the seventh, confirmed in the family with no stated character.

None of the seven has published IQOS intensity, body or aroma ratings, so this table uses official wording and character instead of numbers.

That Minago row is the important one. If a green, minty clove stick is what you are after, Minago Edition is the variant IQOS actually describes that way. Buying Emerald on the assumption that green packaging means mint is guesswork.

What does the Indonesia edition actually change?

For most flavours, a country edition just means a local pack. Same blend, different artwork, different printed warning.

The clove Editions are the exception. There is no Emerald Edition sold in the UAE, Japan or Kazakhstan, because clove TEREA is made for Indonesia only. This is a product built for that market, not a familiar stick rewrapped.

That also explains the missing description. IQOS Indonesia publishes its range in Indonesian and does not always carry a full aroma line for every variant, and there is no second market page to cross check against.

Which devices does TEREA Emerald Edition work with?

Emerald works in the IQOS ILUMA range and the IQOS ILUMA i range, and nothing else.

Every TEREA stick contains a metal element that the device heats by induction. No blade goes into the tobacco, so there is no residue and nothing to clean after a session.

IQOS warns that using TEREA in an IQOS ORIGINALS or ORIGINALS ONE may damage the device. Do not force it.

What is in the pack and how long does one stick last?

Each pack holds 20 sticks and each carton holds 10 packs, so 200 sticks per carton.

A session runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first, with about 20 seconds of preheating on ILUMA i before the first puff.

Heat is the main risk here. A pack left in a car in summer will dry out long before the printed expiry date.

Keep packs indoors, at room temperature, away from direct sun. Skip the fridge, because condensation forms inside the pack when you bring it back out.

Why does this page not describe the flavour?

Because IQOS does not publish an aroma description for Emerald Edition on any page we could reach. It is confirmed as part of the Indonesian clove Edition family, and that is the limit of what any retailer can honestly claim about it.

Is Emerald Edition a mint or menthol stick?
