Description

Five of the six regular tobacco sticks in the UAE edition sit somewhere between toasted, woody and nutty. TEREA Bronze is the one that goes somewhere else. It is the only variant IQOS describes with cocoa.

The official blend wording is “mellow and aromatic tobacco blend married with cocoa and dry fruit aroma notes”. IQOS UAE shortens that to two words on its own store: “Rich & Warm”.

If the rest of the range feels a bit plain to you but you do not want mint, Bronze is usually the answer. It is the darkest tasting stick sold in this edition without being the strongest one.

What does TEREA Bronze actually taste like?

Break the official wording into its parts. “Mellow and aromatic tobacco blend” is the base, so the tobacco itself is not sharp. “Cocoa and dry fruit aroma notes” is what sits on top.

Cocoa here means the dry, dark kind rather than anything sweet or milky. Dry fruit means raisin and date character, the sort of note you get in dried rather than fresh fruit.

Put together it reads as a warm, slightly sweet aroma over a soft tobacco body. There is no cooling, no citrus and no mint in it.

A note on where this stops. IQOS has not published 5-point intensity, body or aroma ratings for Bronze. We list those as “Not published” throughout this page. Several UAE retailers print numbers for Bronze anyway, and there is no official source for them.

Where does Bronze sit among the UAE tobacco sticks?

Comparing Bronze is a bit awkward, because IQOS has published ratings for four of the six regular sticks in this edition and not for Bronze itself. The table shows what is published and marks the gaps honestly.

The one thing the official wording does tell you is that Bronze shares a “mellow” base with TEREA Yellow, while TEREA Sienna and TEREA Teak are both built on a “rounded, toasted” base at 4/5 intensity. So Bronze is not in the heavy group.

The closest alternative on aroma character is TEREA Amber, which swaps cocoa and dried fruit for woody and nutty notes at a published 3/5 intensity. If you want warmth without the cocoa, that is the swap to make.

What does the UAE edition actually change?

Country edition means the market a pack was made for. Pack artwork, printed language and the local health warnings all follow from that.

The UAE is one of the few markets where IQOS itself sells TEREA, and the short descriptors on our pages come from that local listing. “Rich & Warm” for Bronze is UAE wording, not a phrase lifted from a European site.

The blend is not changed by the edition. IQOS publishes the same blend description for a flavour name across every market, and PMI has made no statement that a blend is reformulated country by country. Bronze from Kazakhstan and Bronze from Indonesia carry the same description.

Which devices does TEREA Bronze work with?

Bronze fits IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i devices only. There is no third option.

Each stick holds a metal element that the device heats by induction. Nothing pushes into the tobacco, so there is no blade to break and no residue to clean.

That rules out the older blade generation. IQOS warns that using TEREA in IQOS ORIGINALS or ORIGINALS ONE may damage the device, so do not force it.

What is in the pack and how long does one stick last?

A pack holds 20 sticks. A carton holds 10 packs, so 200 sticks in total.

Each session runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever ends first. ILUMA i adds about 20 seconds of preheating at the start.

How do you use a TEREA Bronze stick?

Slide the stick into the ILUMA holder to the printed line, then press to start. The device handles the timing from there.

Because the tobacco is heated and not burned, IQOS states there is no smoke and no ash. You cannot pause and relight a stick, so start one when you actually have six minutes.

At the end signal, pull the stick out and throw it away whole. Never take one apart.

Who should pick Bronze, and who should skip it?

Pick Bronze if you want an aroma with some character to it. Cocoa and dried fruit make it the most distinctive of the six regular sticks without adding sweetness the way a menthol fruit stick does.

Skip it if you want a plain tobacco taste. Silver and Amber are both closer to neutral. Skip it too if you need published ratings to make a decision, because Bronze does not have them.

How should you store TEREA sticks in the UAE?

Keep packs indoors, at room temperature, away from windows and direct sun. Car interiors in summer here are the main thing that ruins a carton.

Leave the foil sealed until you open a pack, and use an open pack within a reasonable time. Do not refrigerate them and do not decant sticks into another container.

What else do buyers ask about TEREA Bronze?

Is Bronze a sweet or flavoured stick?

Not in the way a fruit or menthol stick is. The official wording names cocoa and dry fruit as aroma notes over a mellow tobacco blend. The result reads warm rather than sweet, and there is no cooling in it at all.

How strong is Bronze compared with Sienna?

IQOS has not published intensity ratings for Bronze, so we cannot give you a number. What is published is Sienna at 4/5 intensity and 4/5 body, and Bronze’s official base is described as “mellow”, which suggests it is not the heavier of the two.

What is the nicotine content of a Bronze stick?

IQOS does not publish a per-stick nicotine figure for this variant, so we do not print one. Listings that quote an exact milligram number for Bronze are repeating an unsourced figure rather than an official specification.
