The IQOS ILUMA ONE in Azure Blue is the all-in-one device of the first ILUMA generation. The holder and the charger sit in one pocket-sized body, so there is no second piece to carry and nothing to click back into a case.
This is ILUMA, not ILUMA i. It heats TEREA sticks with the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM, which warms the tobacco from inside the stick and uses no blade at all.

What do you actually get with the ILUMA ONE in Azure Blue?
You get one unit. There is no holder to slot back into a pocket charger, because the battery that runs the session sits in the same body you hold to your mouth.
For the box, IQOS confirms the device itself and a USB Type-C charging cable. IQOS does not publish a full box list for ILUMA ONE on the pages we could reach, so we print what is confirmed and leave the rest blank.
Azure Blue is a calm mid blue finish. IQOS does not publish a material name or a weight for this model, describing it only as an effortlessly simple, pocket-sized device.
The hardware is identical across the colour listings. Pebble Grey and Sunset Red use the same battery, the same session length and the same stick compatibility.

The column that decides most purchases is back to back use. On ILUMA Standard the holder drops into a pocket charger that refills it twice, so a second stick can follow the first straight away. ILUMA ONE has one battery and no charger to fall back on.

How long does the battery last on the ILUMA ONE?
A full charge gives up to 20 consecutive uses. That is the figure IQOS states for ILUMA ONE, and it matches the count quoted for the two-piece ILUMA devices.
Charging from empty to full takes 1 hour 30 minutes. That is 45 minutes quicker than ILUMA Standard and ILUMA PRIME, which both take 2 hours 15 minutes.
There is no FlexBattery on this generation, so there is no Eco Mode and no Performance Mode to switch between. The battery behaves one way, and a session closes at 6 minutes or 14 puffs.

Which sticks does the ILUMA ONE work with?
TEREA sticks, and nothing else. Each TEREA stick holds a SMARTCORE element, and that metal element is what the induction system heats.
It does not take HEETS. HEETS were built for blade devices and have no element inside them, so an ILUMA ONE has nothing to heat and the stick simply will not work.

How do you use the ILUMA ONE in Azure Blue?
Push a TEREA stick into the opening as far as the printed line. Autostart takes over from there, so there is no button to hold down and no blade to line up.
Preheating runs for about 20 seconds. The session then lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first, and stops on its own.
There is no FlexPuff here, so 14 puffs is a firm ceiling rather than a moving one. ILUMA i ONE is the first all-in-one that adds FlexPuff, and even that newer model has no Pause Mode, no FlexBattery and no touch screen.
Who should buy the ILUMA ONE, and who should skip it?
Buy it if you smoke one stick at a time and want the smallest thing to carry. One unit, one cable, one charge cycle that covers up to 20 uses.
Skip it if you regularly want a second stick straight after the first. The two-piece devices in the wider ILUMA device range refill the holder between sticks, and that is the one gap ILUMA ONE cannot close.

Does the ILUMA ONE need cleaning?
No. There is no blade inside, so there is nothing for tobacco to bake onto and no brush or stick tool to run through it.
IQOS states that the session produces no smoke and no ash. Wipe the outside if it picks up pocket dust, and leave the stick opening alone.

Does the Azure Blue version perform any differently?
No. Colour changes the shell and nothing else. Battery life, charge time, session length and stick compatibility are identical across every ILUMA ONE colour, so pick the finish you prefer and expect the same device underneath.
Does the ILUMA ONE come with a pocket charger?
No, and it does not need one. The charger is built into the same body as the holder, which is what all-in-one means. You charge the whole device with the Type-C cable instead of charging a holder inside a case.
How many puffs do I get from one stick?
Up to 14 puffs, or 6 minutes of session time, whichever comes first. The 20 seconds of preheating happens before that window opens. ILUMA ONE has no FlexPuff, so the puff ceiling does not stretch further on busy sessions.
Is the ILUMA ONE the same as the ILUMA i ONE?
No. They share the all-in-one shape, the 20 uses per charge and the 1 hour 30 minute charge time, but ILUMA i ONE is the newer generation and adds FlexPuff. ILUMA ONE has no FlexPuff at all.
Does the ILUMA ONE have a screen?
No. No first-generation ILUMA device has a touch screen, and neither does ILUMA i ONE. Status is shown through the light and the vibration on the device, so there is nothing to tap or swipe.
Can I set the heating temperature?
No. IQOS does not offer user-set temperature on ILUMA or ILUMA i devices. The induction system runs its own profile, so there is no dial, no app setting and no way to raise or lower the heat yourself.
