What do you get with the ILUMA ONE in Sunset Red?

One device, and a USB Type-C charging cable. That is what IQOS confirms, and that is the whole kit as far as published information goes.

IQOS does not publish a full itemised box list for ILUMA ONE on the pages we could reach, so we do not print one. If a pouch or a strap matters to you, assume it is not included until you see it listed.

The important part is what is missing by design. There is no separate holder and no pocket charger, so the number of pieces that can be misplaced drops from two to one.

Is the ILUMA ONE the right ILUMA tier for you?

The three first-generation ILUMA devices heat the same way, take the same sticks and quote the same 20 uses per charge. The differences are shape, charge time and whether a pocket charger comes along.

How long does the ILUMA ONE run before it needs charging?

Up to 20 consecutive uses from a full charge, which is the figure IQOS publishes for this model. It matches the count for the two-piece ILUMA devices.

Refilling from empty takes 1 hour 30 minutes. The two-piece models take 2 hours 15 minutes, so the all-in-one is back in service faster after you forget to plug it in.

No FlexBattery means no Eco Mode and no Performance Mode on this generation. There is nothing to configure and nothing to switch when the battery gets low.

Which sticks go in the ILUMA ONE?

TEREA sticks only. The SMARTCORE element inside each TEREA stick is what the induction system heats, and no other stick format carries one.

HEETS do not fit the system. They were built for blade devices, have no element inside and will not heat in an ILUMA ONE.

Once compatibility is settled, the choice is flavour. Regional ranges such as TEREA Kazakhstan change the lineup available to you, not whether the stick fits.

How do you start and end a session on the ILUMA ONE?

Push a TEREA stick in as far as the printed line. Autostart begins preheating with no button press, which is one fewer thing to get wrong.

Give it about 20 seconds. The session then runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever arrives first, and shuts down by itself.

There is no FlexPuff on ILUMA ONE, so 14 is the ceiling and it does not move; our note on how many puffs a stick gives covers what that feels like in practice. There is no Pause Mode either, and if FlexPuff is what you want, it starts at ILUMA i ONE, which still has no touch screen, no FlexBattery and no Pause Mode.

Who suits the ILUMA ONE, and who should buy a two-piece device?

It suits you if you want fewer parts in your life. One unit, one cable, up to 20 uses between charges and no case to keep track of.

Buy a two-piece device if you regularly smoke twice in a row, or if you want Device Lock to stop anyone else picking it up. Both of those live in the wider ILUMA device range rather than here.

Colour changes nothing mechanical, so Pebble Grey and Azure Blue are the same purchase in a different shade. Pick the one you will actually notice when it is sitting somewhere it should not be.

Do you have to clean anything inside the ILUMA ONE?

No. There is no blade, so nothing collects burnt tobacco and there is no cleaning stick or brush to keep hold of.

IQOS states that the session leaves no ash and no smoke. That removes the routine that older blade devices needed after every few sticks.

What do buyers ask about the Sunset Red ILUMA ONE?

Can I lock the device so nobody else uses it?

No. Device Lock is a feature of ILUMA PRIME, not of ILUMA ONE, and IQOS does not list it for this model. If locking matters, the PRIME tier is the one that offers it in this generation.

What happens if I lose it?

There is nothing on the device to help you find it. IQOS does not publish any tracking or find-my-device function for ILUMA ONE, so treat it like a wallet rather than a phone and pick a colour you notice.

Is there a warranty on the device?

Warranty terms differ by market and we do not publish a length here, because we would only be guessing. Ask us before you order and we will tell you what applies to your order rather than quote a number.

Can the battery be replaced when it wears out?
