IQOS Japan is consistent about the word Black. Non Black menthol sticks like this one are described as refreshing menthol, while Black sticks are described as strong menthol built on intensely cold menthol.

There is no Black Bright Menthol, so this stick has no direct pear pair. The nearest strong option is TEREA Black Menthol, which trades the pear for a faint green fruit aroma over a much colder base.

What does the Japan edition change?

Heat and humidity are the two things that dull a menthol stick. Keep packs sealed until you open them and store them indoors at normal room temperature.

Never leave a pack in a parked car or out on a balcony. A closed car in Dubai summer gets hot enough to flatten the pear note and soften the stick.
