TEREA Black Purple Menthol Japan

Description

TEREA Black Purple Menthol is the Japan market blueberry menthol, made for IQOS ILUMA devices only. It comes in a Japanese pack of 20 sticks, and we sell it as a sealed carton of 10 packs.

It is the berry stick for people who want the cold turned all the way up. In IQOS Japan wording it is the strong menthol version of Purple Menthol, not a separate flavour idea.

What does TEREA Black Purple Menthol actually taste like?

IQOS Japan describes it as a strong menthol woven from intensely cold menthol and a mellow, full blueberry aroma. That is the official Japanese wording put into English, and it is all IQOS publishes about the blend.

In plain terms, the cold sets the floor and the blueberry sits on it. The word mellow in the official line matters, because the berry is rounded and soft rather than sharp or candy like.

It is the sweetest reading of the three Black sticks, but the sweetness is aroma rather than sugar. The tobacco stays quiet underneath both the cold and the berry.

Where does Black Purple Menthol sit in the Japan TEREA range?

It sits near the cold end without being the coldest. Mint is the gentlest stick in the Japan range, the plain menthols hold the middle, and the Black variants sit above them as strong menthol.

For the same berry with less cold, step across to TEREA Purple Menthol Japan, or go gentler again with TEREA Mint Japan.

For colder and sharper, TEREA Black Yellow Menthol Japan swaps blueberry for a bracing citrus aroma. The full cold end is in our Black Menthol collection.

What does the Japan edition change?

The pack is built for the Japanese home market, so the pack text and the health warnings are printed in Japanese. The sticks behave exactly like any other TEREA in an ILUMA device.

The names change too. Japan uses Purple Menthol and the Black family, while the international range uses names like Purple and Twilight Pearl, and UAE shops stock both without explaining the difference.

Here is the part no one else lays out. If you want blueberry from TEREA there are three different routes, and they are not the same purchase.

Route one is this stick. Blueberry sits over intensely cold menthol, it is there from the first puff, and the cold never drops. Nothing needs to be clicked.

Route two is Purple Menthol itself, described officially as a refreshing menthol lifted by a luxurious blueberry aroma. Same berry idea, ordinary menthol level, so the fruit reads louder against a softer cold.

Route three is TEREA Twilight Pearl from the international range. That one is a capsule stick, so you get menthol first and the blueberry only once you squeeze the capsule, and the click cannot be undone.

There is a fourth option if you want fruit with no cooling at all. TEREA Ruby Regular Japan is officially rich raspberry and faint floral aromas that bring out mellow tobacco leaves, and it sits in the Regular family with no menthol.

IQOS publishes no official mapping between the Japanese and international ranges, so all of this is a comparison of published descriptions rather than a confirmed match. Browse them together in our purple flavour collection.

What is inside the box?

The carton weighs about 240 grams and measures 162 by 75 by 47 millimetres. Each stick holds approximately 0.5 mg of nicotine and gives up to 14 puffs.

To be clear about what is not here, no device, charger, cable or accessory is included. You are buying sticks only, so you need an ILUMA device already.

How do you use TEREA Black Purple Menthol?

There is no blade inside an ILUMA device, so there are no cleaning sticks to buy and nothing to scrape between sessions. The heating element sits inside the stick and leaves with it.

Which devices does TEREA Black Purple Menthol work with?

TEREA works with the IQOS ILUMA series only. That means ILUMA Standard, ILUMA One and ILUMA Prime, plus ILUMA i Standard, ILUMA i One and ILUMA i Prime.

Older blade based IQOS devices will not work with TEREA. The sticks carry the heating element inside, so the two systems are not interchangeable.

If you still need hardware, compare the IQOS ILUMA range against the newer IQOS ILUMA i range before ordering sticks in volume.

Who should pick Black Purple Menthol, and who should skip it?

Pick it if you want berry and heavy cooling in every puff, with no capsule to manage. It is the most straightforward way to get blueberry from a TEREA stick.

Pick it also if you already smoke Purple Menthol and want the cold pushed higher without losing the fruit.

Skip it if you like choosing when the fruit arrives. A capsule stick such as TEREA Oasis Pearl Japan lets you run plain menthol first and click when you want the aroma.

Skip it too if you want no cooling at all, in which case TEREA Regular Japan is a roasted, rounded tobacco with faint nutty and woody aromas.

How should you store TEREA Black Purple Menthol in the UAE?

Heat and humidity are what spoil menthol sticks here. Keep the carton sealed, indoors and out of direct sun, ideally in an air conditioned room rather than a storage cupboard.

Never leave a pack in a parked car or on a balcony. A closed car in Dubai gets hot enough to dry the stick and flatten both the cooling and the berry aroma.

What else is worth trying from the Japan range?

Every Japanese variant we stock is listed on the TEREA Japan collection page, and you can compare cooling levels across editions in the menthol flavour collection.

How do you order TEREA Black Purple Menthol in Dubai?

Add the carton to your cart and go through checkout. Orders are packed the same working day where possible, and timings and coverage are set out in our shipping and delivery policy.

This product is sold to adults only. Our age policy explains the checks we apply at checkout and at handover, and orders that fail them are cancelled.

On arrival, check the shrink wrap is intact and all 10 packs are sealed. If anything is wrong, our refund policy explains the next step.

Questions before you buy are welcome through contact us, or browse the wider TEREA sticks range to compare editions first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference from Purple Menthol?

The menthol tier. IQOS Japan calls Purple Menthol a refreshing menthol lifted by a luxurious blueberry aroma, and calls this one a strong menthol built on intensely cold menthol with a mellow, full blueberry aroma. Same berry, much colder base.

Is there a capsule to click in this stick?

No. This is a menthol stick, not a Pearl, so there is nothing to squeeze. The blueberry and the cold are both present from the first puff and stay for the whole session.

Can a Pearl capsule be clicked twice?

No, and that is worth knowing if you are comparing this with a capsule stick. A capsule click is one way and cannot be undone, so once the fruit is released the stick stays that way to the end.

What does Black mean on an IQOS Japan pack?

It marks the strong menthol tier. Non Black menthols are described as refreshing menthol, Black variants are described as strong menthol built on intensely cold menthol, and IQOS Japan shows more menthol marks on the Black packs.

Does the Japanese pack text matter in Dubai?

Only for reading the box. The flavour name and the health warnings are printed in Japanese, so the pack looks different from Gulf packs, but the sticks, the count and the device compatibility are identical.

What happens in an older blade device?

It will not work. TEREA has no tobacco plug for a blade to enter, and older holders cannot read the induction element inside the stick. Forcing a TEREA stick into a blade device risks damaging the holder.
