The IQOS ILUMA Neon Limited Edition is the standard tier of the first ILUMA generation in a limited edition finish. The hardware is the ordinary ILUMA: a holder plus a pocket charger, up to 20 uses per full charge, TEREA sticks only.

What are the battery figures on the Neon ILUMA?

Up to 20 uses on a full pocket charger, the same as every other ILUMA Standard. A limited edition finish does not come with a different cell.

The holder handles 2 back-to-back sessions, then goes back in the charger. That is the first generation limit and it applies here without exception.

A full charge takes 2 hours 15 minutes. The ILUMA ONE is quicker at 1 hour 30 minutes because it has one battery rather than two.

Which sticks work with the Neon Limited Edition?

TEREA sticks, exactly as with any ILUMA. There is no limited edition stick that goes with it and no special pairing to buy.

TEREA carries a SMARTCORE metal element and the device heats it by induction, with no blade anywhere in the holder. How TEREA sticks work goes inside the element if you want the detail.

HEETS will not heat in this device, and a TEREA stick will not heat in IQOS ORIGINALS, IQOS 3 DUO or any other blade device. That is fixed by the hardware and no finish changes it.

How does a session run on this device?

Take the holder from the charger and push a TEREA stick in up to the line. Autostart begins preheating on its own, with no button to press.

Preheating takes about 20 seconds. The session lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first.

Pull the stick out at the end and bin it. There is no Pause Mode and no FlexPuff on this generation, so the session cannot be paused and no extra puffs are added.

Who should buy a limited edition finish?

Buy it if you want this look and you would have bought an ILUMA Standard anyway. That is a good reason and it is the only one we will give you.

Do not buy it as an investment. We make no claim that it will appreciate, become rare, or be worth more later, and IQOS publishes nothing that would support such a claim.

Skip it if the tier is wrong for you. A limited finish on the wrong device is still the wrong device, and Sunset Red or Pebble Grey will serve you better than a Neon shell you bought for the label.

Does the Neon finish need special care?

No. Cleaning is the same as any ILUMA, which is to say there is none, because there is no blade and nothing builds up inside the chamber.

IQOS publishes no material, coating or wear rating for the ILUMA Standard shell in any finish, limited or otherwise. So we cannot tell you the Neon finish is tougher or more delicate than the rest, and we will not pretend otherwise.
